The Organization’s Goals

The association aims to raise the status of the agricultural business sector to increase its effectiveness in general economic activity and its social and educational roles that serve the interests of its affiliates from individuals, companies, institutions, and workers. The organization works to enhance the role of the agricultural sector in sustainable development and create an appropriate business environment through a set of tools.

One priority is to gain support for the establishment of the Jordan Chamber of Agriculture and work on regulating the sector and reducing the impact of conflicts of interest.

This can be done by defining the priorities and needs of the agricultural business sector and raising its efficiency and contribution to the national economy, as well as contributing to drawing up policies that deal with the Agricultural business sector directly or indirectly, conducting studies related to the sector, and clarifying the position of the agricultural business sector regarding government policies, instructions, and procedures that affect the agricultural sector.

 Other priorities are to create databases for the sector and make them accessible to all its affiliates and interested parties, participate in the representation of the agricultural business sector to others, and raise the level of coordination and cooperation with the chambers of commerce and industry, trade unions, and business associations locally and internationally.

The organization coordinates with trade missions and relevant delegations, cooperates with the competent authorities to establish a Jordanian business development center to serve investors in Jordan, and works to provide easy and affordable agricultural financing for all aspects of the agricultural business sector.
