Goals and objectives

Enabling and motivating the agricultural business sector to carry out economic, social, and educational tasks that serve the interests of its affiliates for the individuals, companies, institutions, and workers in it. Strengthening and developing the agricultural sector in order to improve production and contribute to sustainable development and create an appropriate business environment that will:

 
1. Gain support for the establishment of the Jordan Chamber of Agriculture.
2. Organize the agricultural business sector and limit the impact of conflicts of interest on the effectiveness and efficiency of the agricultural business sector.
3. Determine the priorities and needs of the agricultural business sector in the Kingdom.
4. Raise the efficiency of the agricultural business sector and its contribution to the national economy.
5. Contribute to drawing up policies that concern the agricultural business sector, directly or indirectly.
6. Conduct studies related to the agricultural business sector and what affects or is affected by it directly or indirectly, and find those that clarify the position of the agricultural business sector regarding government policies, instructions, and procedures.
7. Work to raise the status of the agricultural business sector and raise it to the level that enables it to increase its effectiveness in general economic activity.
8. Educate the agricultural business sector and public opinion about the importance of the sector and its economic and social overlaps.
9. Support the agricultural production sector, agricultural producers, and the agricultural business sector and coordination in order to achieve full integration to serve the national economy and the agricultural business sector.
10. Prepare training strategies to develop the efficiency of the sector’s employees and employers.
11. Prepare databases for the sector and make them accessible to all its affiliates in various activities and from various related sectors.
12. Facilitate the establishment of companies and institutions that provide public benefit services to the agricultural business sector.
13. Participate in representing the agricultural business sector with the counterpart local and foreign authorities and sign memorandums of understanding with the relevant authorities to serve the sector.
14. Raise the level of coordination and cooperation with the chambers of commerce, industry, and agriculture, trade unions, and business associations locally and internationally.
15. Organize trade missions and delegations related to the agricultural business sector.
16. Cooperate with partners and competent authorities to establish a Jordanian business development center to serve investors in Jordan and operate it.
17. Organize local and international seminars to discuss economic affairs related to the agricultural business sector.
18. Finance income-generating projects and providing small loans.
